Sales Representative (Anesthesia)

As an Outside Sales Representative at AAC, you will be a key player in our growth strategy responsible for driving revenue through effective sales techniques and superior customer relationship management. Your role will involve identifying new sales opportunities, representing AAC at industry events, and working closely with various internal teams to optimize our sales strategies and achieve company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, prospect office visits, and social media outreach.
  • Attend and actively participate in conferences, trade shows, and other industry events to network, generate leads, and promote AAC's services.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential sales opportunities and understand customer needs.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay informed and adjust strategies accordingly.

Product Knowledge:

  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of AAC's services and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.
  • Stay updated on new developments and offerings within the company to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.

Sales Reporting:

  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for the management team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide constructive feedback and insights to help shape future sales strategies.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with team members from marketing, clinical, and other departments to align sales efforts with overall company goals.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights and contribute to the development of integrated sales and marketing plans.

Customer Feedback:

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in AAC's services.
  • Communicate customer insights to internal teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Additional Information:

  • Travel Requirement: Approximately 3 days a week, with the majority of travel within Salem, OR and Seattle, WA.
  • Territory: Sole Outside Business Development (BD) Representative in OR/WA, covering the territory exclusively.
  • Current Clients: This role focuses on acquiring new clients; all accounts will be greenfield.
  • Training: 30-60 days hands-on training, including ride-alongs with key heads, managing partners, and leadership to gain different perspectives. Training will also involve role plays in all aspects of cold calls, emails, and rebuttals.
  • Metrics: Expected to make 40-60 calls daily and schedule a minimum of 2 meetings per week. Team close goal is 4 OBA per month per region.
  • Provided Resources: Access to Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in the healthcare or medical services industry.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM software.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Deep understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
  • Quick learner with a genuine passion for sales and customer service.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory to meet with clients and attend events.
