Momentum Technical Developer

Arlington, VA - TS/SCI clearance required

M9 Solutions is seeking a Momentum Technical Developer to work on-site in support of a government contract for a client located in Arlington, VA. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Momentum-based financial system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains custom Momentum functionality, including extensions, configurations, and integrations.
  • Develops and modifies Momentum technical components, such as workflows, interfaces, batch jobs, and system utilities.
  • Builds and maintains integrations between Momentum and external systems (inbound and outbound).
  • Creates and maintains technical design specifications, configuration documentation, and deployment artifacts.
  • Collaborates with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develops and optimizes database objects, queries, and data structures supporting Momentum applications.
  • Supports data conversions, migrations, and reconciliations.
  • Develops and maintains reports (e.g., BI Publisher, extracts, dashboards).
  • Performs unit, integration, and system testing, and supports user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical defects, performance issues, and system errors.
  • Supports code migrations across multiple environments (i.e., Dev, Test, Prod).
  • Participates in release planning, deployments, and post-implementation support.
  • Creates installation scripts and deployment packages.
  • Maintains and enhances existing Momentum technical components.
  • Provides production support and defect resolution.
  • Prepares technical documentation and contributes to project status reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • TS/SCI security clearance.
  • 2+ years of Momentum technical development experience, including understanding of the complexities of the Momentum technical stack.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and technical delivery best practices.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience performing development support in one or more of the following areas: WebMethods, Java, C++, Jenkins, BIRT, etc.
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
  • Must be willing to obtain a CI polygraph if required.

Full-Time Employee Compensation

  • M9 Solutions’ pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the position, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, location, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Salary Range

$132,000 - $147,000 USD
