Entrepreneur-in-Residence

Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Mach49 is the growth engine for global businesses, helping the world’s leading corporations design, build, and launch new ventures that can shape industries and create long-term value. We operate at the intersection of entrepreneurship, strategy, execution, and investment — not just advising but embedding alongside our clients to make innovation real. With a global team of seasoned founders, investors, and operators, we bring hard-earned experience and hands-on execution to everything we do.

In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), we are proud to support the bold ambitions of Vision 2030. We believe that driving sustainable economic transformation requires more than just arm’s-length advice — it takes teams willing to roll up their sleeves, co-build new initiatives and ventures, deploy capital with discipline, and deliver real-world outcomes. That’s where Mach49 comes in. We are committed to being a pragmatic, on-the-ground partner to the region’s most visionary organizations as they build the future.

The Role

We are looking for entrepreneurial leaders with a proven track record of turning innovative ideas into real-world ventures. As an Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR), you’ll bring deep expertise in strategy, product development, and early-stage execution to help client teams build and launch bold new businesses — as well as transformative internal initiatives. You’ll guide teams through early-stage innovation, whether launching entirely new ventures or driving new products, services, or business models within existing units.

The ideal candidate is a former founder or product leader who thrives at the intersection of creativity and operational rigor. You bring structure to ambiguity, move quickly from insight to action, and know what it takes to move from slide decks to traction. You’re excited about the opportunity to work in dynamic, fast-paced venture environments, with the added complexity and impact of corporate scale.

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to early-stage innovation teams
  • Collaborate with teams to generate ideas, validate opportunities, and develop new venture concepts or internal business initiatives
  • Lead the creation of business models, go-to-market strategies, and operational plans
  • Help teams prepare and deliver compelling pitches to executive stakeholders
  • Support product development, hypothesis testing, and early-stage growth efforts
  • Act as a founder-level contributor where needed to move initiatives forward
  • Leverage AI tools to improve speed, clarity, and quality of innovation work
  • Mentor emerging talent and help teams internalize a founder mindset

Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in an entrepreneurial or innovation leadership role (startup or corporate)
  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end innovation process from ideation to launch
  • Experience leading the development of both new ventures and internal offerings
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with an operator’s mindset
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate innovation or operations is a plus
  • Ability to work across stakeholder groups, communicate clearly, and build momentum
  • Comfortable in high-ambiguity, high-velocity environments
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; willing to travel within the GCC as needed to support clients and project teams
  • Non-Saudi candidates must hold a valid Iqama

Benefits

  • Competitive salary, depending on experience and interview outcomes
  • Comprehensive private health insurance for you and your family
  • 25 days of annual leave
  • Hybrid work model
  • Remote work setup provided (Mach49 will supply equipment and cover monthly internet reimbursement)
  • Travel expenses fully covered for any business-related travel
  • Annual performance-based bonus (based on business outcomes)
  • You will be joining a global team of experts shaping the future of innovation for leading corporations worldwide
  • Long-term career growth opportunities within a global innovation ecosystem

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
