Senior Manager, Product Marketing

US

Machinify is a leading healthcare intelligence company with expertise across the payment continuum, delivering unmatched value, transparency, and efficiency to health plan clients across the country. Deployed by over 85 health plans, including many of the top 20, and representing more than 270 million lives, Machinify brings together a fully configurable and content-rich, AI-powered platform along with best-in-class expertise. We’re constantly reimagining what’s possible in our industry, creating disruptively simple, powerfully clear ways to maximize financial outcomes and drive down healthcare costs.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly capable, hands-on Senior Manager, Product Marketing to help build the product marketing engine that supports Machinify’s transition from services-based offerings to a unified, scalable tech platform model.

This is a builder role for someone who wants meaningful ownership. You will develop foundational product marketing assets (positioning, personas, messaging architecture, and a durable library of customer-facing content–especially video) while partnering tightly with the Director of Product Operations to operationalize launches and create a repeatable, cross-functional cadence. The Senior Manager will help bring clarity and coherence to how Machinify’s products are understood (the payment integrity space is hard!), enabling sales success and market growth.

What You'll Do

Platform Narrative & Differentiated Positioning (Build from the Ground Up)

  • Create and continuously refine Machinify’s messaging architecture–from platform-level narrative to product/module positioning–so buyers and the people who influence them understand “why Machinify” and “why now.”
  • Translate complex AI-powered capabilities into clear, defensible value propositions for payer audiences (executive, clinical, operations, and payment integrity).
  • Establish “source of truth” positioning docs and governance so product, sales, and marketing stay aligned as the platform evolves.

Persona Development & Customer Insight

  • Build a practical persona set (buyers, users, influencers) and map key workflows/journeys, pain points, and messaging across the payment integrity lifecycle.
  • Partner with the Director of Product Operations to create reliable input loops (field feedback, customer calls, win/loss, product telemetry where available) and turn them into messaging and sales enablement improvements.

Video-Forward Storytelling & Core Asset Library

  • Stand up a video marketing program from scratch, from scripting and storyboarding, to directing SMEs, to partnering with our creative team on production. Potential output includes product explainers, “what it is/why it matters” modules, release highlights, and buyer-specific narratives that reduce time-to-understanding.
  • Own (or heavily contribute to) the foundational content stack for each product: pitch decks, one-pagers, solution briefs, demo storyboards, FAQs, competitive talk tracks, and customer proof packaging.
  • Ensure every asset ladders to the platform story and helps the market connect Machinify’s offerings to concrete outcomes.

Launch Readiness & Cross-Functional Execution (In Lockstep with Product Ops)

  • Co-run launch discipline with the VP, Product Marketing and Director of Product Operations: launch tiers, readiness checklists, timelines, internal comms, training, and post-launch retrospectives.
  • Convert roadmap milestones into GTM-ready packaging: what’s new, who it’s for, why it matters, how it’s sold, and how it’s measured.
  • Establish a repeatable “release-to-revenue” motion so every meaningful capability ships with the narrative and enablement it needs.

Sales Enablement & Field Activation

  • Equip sales and customer teams with practical tools that hold up in real conversations: objection handling, ROI narratives, competitive positioning, and demo pathways.
  • Partner with sales and sales ops leaders to identify where deals stall due to story gaps, and fix those gaps with targeted assets, training, and messaging.

What you bring (role requirements)

Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in product marketing (or adjacent GTM roles with heavy messaging/content ownership), with an additional 2-3 years of business experience, ideally in B2B SaaS and/or healthcare technology companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to build foundational product marketing assets (positioning, personas, messaging, core collateral), creating clarity and structure from ambiguity.
  • Experience partnering closely with product, operational, and sales counterparts in tech-forward companies.

Personal Attributes

  • Builder Mentality: Energized by creating the first version of what “great” looks like, and then iterating quickly as you learn.
  • High Ownership, Low Ego: Jumps in wherever needed, seeks truth over credit, and prioritizes outcomes over optics.
  • Technical Fluency: Able to engage product and data science teams to understand what’s real, what’s differentiated, and what needs nuance, and then translate it for market impact.
  • Clarity Obsessed: Unusually strong instinct for simplifying complexity into language that moves decisions and reduces friction.
  • Credible, Customer-Focused Storytelling: Balances ambition with accuracy; aims for defensible, trustworthy narratives in a high-stakes healthcare context.
  • Comfort with Ambiguity: Thrives in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve as Machinify scales its unified platform approach.

Additional Requirements

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
