About the Opportunity

Machinify is scaling rapidly and transforming its enterprise systems to enable intelligent automation and data-driven decision making across every business function. We are seeking a Senior Director of Enterprise Business Applications to lead strategy, delivery, and operations for the full portfolio of systems supporting HR, Order Management, Operations, Sales, Service, Legal, and Procurement.

This leader will own the vision and execution for Machinify’s enterprise applications ecosystem, including ERP, CRM, Data and Analytics platforms, ensuring that technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes. The role requires a seasoned professional with deep functional and technical understanding, proven program delivery experience, and the ability to build strong partnerships across business, IT, and external vendors.

What You'll Do

Delivery and Operations

  • Lead implementation and continuous improvement of core enterprise platforms including ERP (Finance, Order Management, Procurement), CRM (Sales and Service), HCM (HR), and Legal or Contract systems.
  • Oversee daily application operations, release management, and incident resolution to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Manage system integrations and data flows across the enterprise, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and reporting accuracy.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in agile delivery, DevOps for SaaS, and change management discipline.

Team and Vendor Management

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high performing team of functional and technical experts covering ERP, CRM, Data, and Analytics.
  • Manage relationships with key external partners, consultants, and system integrators, ensuring quality, accountability, and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee contracts, vendor governance, and service level performance metrics.

Data and Analytics Enablement

  • Partner with the Data and Analytics team to design enterprise-wide reporting and data integration strategies.
  • Ensure that operational and financial data from enterprise systems supports accurate forecasting, KPI tracking, and executive dashboards.

What you bring (role requirements)

  • A systems thinker who connects strategy to execution and technology to measurable business outcomes.
  • A collaborative leader skilled at influencing executives and empowering high performing teams.
  • A change agent who is comfortable leading digital transformation in a dynamic, growth stage company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise applications delivery and operations, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven success leading large scale implementations across ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), CRM (Salesforce or equivalent), and HCM platforms (Workday preferred).
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Hire to Retire, Record to Report, and Contract to Close.
  • Experience leading teams through cloud migrations, application modernization, and data platform integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor partnerships, budgets, and complex cross functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in high growth SaaS or technology environments.
  • Familiarity with data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, or Databricks and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Background in governance frameworks such as ITIL, SOX, or GxP for regulated industries.
