You are a can’t stop, won’t stop daymaker! You are committed to making each client count with personalized hair color consultations and support. This role is crucial to our clients’ Madison Reed experience; a master of first impressions and expert on Madison Reed hair color products, membership/subscription benefits, and package options. This exciting position will be based on one of our new Madison Reed Retail Only locations. 

What you’ll do:

  • Warmly greet all clients, educate clients about Madison Reed products and services. 
  • Listen to clients to determine their hair color needs.  Suggest Madison Reed products that will achieve their desired results.
  • Complete hair color consultations and provide information on at home color and product application to clients based on knowledge, Madison Reed product training and available technology. 
  • Meet and achieve revenue targets for Madison Reed with sales of hair color kits, gloss, color therapy masks and home care retail products.
  • Educate and share the benefits of Madison Reed Membership Subscriptions.
  • Exhibit sales and service behaviors in all interactions and communications with customers. Regularly achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
  • Exceed operational excellence by actively managing inventory, controlling loss prevention and maintaining store cleanliness standards while compiling with Madison Reed policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a positive and cooperative approach towards teammates.

What you will need:

  • Active cosmetology license at must.
  • 1+ year of experience in retail or salon or spa industry.
  • Outstanding communication, problem solving & troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail. 
  • Computer skills and POS (Point of Sale) system experience are highly desired.  
  • Flexibility to work during peak retail hours such as nights, weekends and Holidays.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, team members will regularly stand/walk for 4 consecutive hours or more at a time; regularly bend and twist at the waist, manipulate fingers and hands, bend wrists and arms, reach with hands and arms, speak, see, hear, and lift/move up to 3 pounds. May on occasion sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, and lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds.
