Position Overview:

As a Package Development Co-Op, you’ll support the cross-functional process of bringing beauty products from concept to shelf by working closely with our developers, project managers, engineering, design, and global teams. You’ll gain experience in auditing finished goods, managing bill of materials (BOMs), updating specifications, setting up items, and supporting the Fill & Assembly process.  

This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Packaging Science, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and looking to gain practical experience in the cosmetics and consumer goods industries. 

This co-op position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week during the Fall 2025 semester (approximately July through December) and will require to be onsite at our NY office a minimum of 3x a week. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Finished Goods (FGs): 

  • Conduct audits of all Finished Goods and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure completeness and version control. 
  • Collaborate with internal partners to confirm FG data entry is accurate and up to date. 
  • Partner with developers and project managers to update and complete missing specification data for each FG. 

Item Setup: 

  • Assist with entering item details into FG specs. 
  • Work closely with developers to ensure all FG-related data is correctly captured and maintained in systems. 

Component Specifications: 

  • Audit BOM components to identify missing or incomplete information. 
  • Work cross-functionally with vendors, developers, designers, and engineers to gather and update all necessary data for each component spec. 

Fill & Assembly (F&A): 

  • Coordinate with the China team to input and link Fill & Assembly specifications to each Finished Good. 
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency between FG and F&A documentation. 

General Support: 

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and project support to the Package Development team. 
  • Help maintain system accuracy and documentation integrity across all packaging workflows.

Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Comfortable working with data entry and specification systems (Excel or PLM tools a plus) 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 

Compensation: 

$20/hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
