Role

Maev is seeking an organized, proactive and execution-minded individual to join our team as a Growth Marketing Manager, SEM and Affiliate. 

This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive search marketing strategies that encompass paid search, search engine optimization (SEO), and affiliate marketing efforts. As the Channel Manager of our paid search program, you will be responsible for building, optimizing and expanding our efforts across search, shopping, discovery, display, etc. on multiple engines (primarily Google and Bing). This role involves conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for optimizing the company's online presence and driving new subscribers.

This role supports the Growth Marketing team and reports into the Director of Growth Marketing. Our ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable building strategies, executing and diving into analytics. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of our Paid Search channel, and oversee management of Affiliate and SEO channels
  • Manage planning, execution, optimizations, budget pacing and reporting across channels
  • Measure and analyze campaign and channel performance, perform deep dive analyses, and flag opportunities to scale and optimize performance
  • Continuously analyze, experiment, and iterate to improve performance and uncover new opportunities through ad copy and bidding strategy testing, quality score improvement, keyword expansion, landing page testing, product feed optimization, etc.
  • Maintain daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly KPI and financial reporting
  • Interpret trends and make recommendations based on CAC, CPC, CTR, CVR and ROAS
  • Work with the creative and brand marketing team to ensure messaging & visuals across channels are consistent and aligned to brand guidelines
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new ad formats, new ad channels and digital marketing best practices to ensure our strategies provide continual growth
  • Establish a feedback loop with key internal stakeholders, sharing keyword insights and search trends that inform broader business strategy
  • Work closely with and own management of affiliate agency to ensure strategy alignment and performance

Experience

  • BA/BS required
  • 3-4+ years of hands on keyboard paid search experience in a high-growth DTC brand or CPG focused agency 
  • Experience with keyword research, ad copywriting best practices, and landing page optimization
  • In-depth knowledge of paid search platforms, including Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, and how AI is impacting them
  • Understanding of media measurement norms, evolving landscape, and industry standards 
  • Analytical skills and proficiency in paid search tools and analytics platforms, including Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple relationships and projects simultaneously
  • Natural skill for connecting with people and building long lasting relationships in small teams
  • Resourceful team player who thinks creatively and has high attention to detail and quality
  • Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continuous improvement
