The opportunity
As a Sr Manufacturing Operator, you'll be responsible for producing high quality materials and helping the team meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. You’ll also collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot equipment and optimize processes to drive continuous improvement.
Location: This position requires being fully on-site at our Plantation, FL (HQ) to ensure seamless collaboration and hands-on support for daily operations. Relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to manufacture high-quality materials at target production rates
- Perform routine maintenance and assist in qualification of production equipment
- Conduct inventory checks, ensuring materials are correctly stocked and labeled
- Participate in daily operations stand-up meetings
- Support and lead 6S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) activities and identify safety or ergonomic improvements
- Assist in equipment recovery efforts and troubleshooting activities
- Support engineers in executing Design of Experiments (DOEs)
- Organize and deliver accurate production and process data to engineering teams
- Monitor product quality using control charts and inspection results
- Contribute to yield improvement initiatives
- Maintain a hands-on, team-oriented mindset to meet production milestones
The experience you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of high-tech manufacturing processes
- Ability to quickly learn and train others on production and metrology equipment
- Strong data collection, organization, and documentation skills
It’s exciting if you also have
- Associate degree in a relevant field
- Previous experience working in a cleanroom or similar controlled environment
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
Additional Requirements
- Operate within a Class 100 cleanroom environment (approximately 80% of shift), wearing appropriate cleanroom attire
- Lift up to 50 lbs. as required

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. In addition to salary, Magic Leap offers a discretionary bonus and a fully comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.
US Hourly Salary Range
$33 - $39 USD
