Marketing Associate (Seasonal)

SUMMARY 

At Magnolia, the Marketing Associate (Seasonal) provides essential support to the marketing team by executing key projects and tasks that align with departmental priorities. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and working closely with the Executive Assistant to the CMO, this role ensures seamless coordination of marketing initiatives, event activations, and strategic communications. Responsibilities include supporting signage development, assisting with marketing briefs and presentations, and contributing to planning and execution for major Magnolia events such as Summer @ the Silos and Silobration. This position requires a highly organized, adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at cross-functional collaboration. The role is based at Magnolia headquarters in Waco, Texas and has no supervisory responsibilities.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist in developing, executing, and tracking marketing activations, including signage and branded experiences across Magnolia properties. 
  • Support event marketing efforts, including execution, staffing, and on-site coordination for key Magnolia events. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to draft and refine marketing briefs, PowerPoint presentations, and other strategic communication materials. 
  • Pull and analyze marketing performance data to generate insights and support decision-making. 
  • Coordinate with the EA to the CMO and key stakeholders to align priorities, schedules, and communication across departments. 
  • Track brand activations, providing insights on industry trends and best practices. 
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring all marketing initiatives meet deadlines and align with brand standards. 
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors to facilitate marketing projects. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the marketing team.

ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university preferred  
  • 0-2 years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred  
  • Portfolio preferred  
  • Required to work all Magnolia events; must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and arms to reach, handle, feel; utilize fine motor dexterity of fingers; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
