Back of House Crew Leader
SUMMARY
At Magnolia, the Back of House Crew Leader is a key part of the store leadership team and is responsible for directing and training associates through completion of daily tasks according to the standard operating procedures for receipt, quality inspection, inventory management, and replenishment. Crew Leaders lead with enthusiasm and are specialists in training and development. They connect with team members and guests in genuine and authentic ways and serve as Magnolia brand ambassadors. This position works from the Magnolia Silos Grounds in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Store Operations Manager and has supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coach team members, ensure efficient workflow, and maintain high quality standards*
- Assign daily tasks to Retail Stock Associates to meet assigned goals and metric objectives*
- Assist in onboarding, on-going training, and coaching of team to ensure strong team dynamics
- Document daily activities, performance data, and any incidents
- Ensure the printing of, training on, and verification of accurate product tags according to expectations
- Communicate updates to team regarding product UPCs, names, or retail sales prices
- Oversee the replenishment of items to all retail sales floors at the Magnolia Silos Grounds, maintaining healthy stock levels based on sales, storage space, and visual expectations*
- Responsible for removing damaged and/or defective product from available on hand inventory using inventory management system
- Maintain accurate inventory by performing proper transactions (cycle counts, item receipts, transfers, and fulfillments) and following the assigned standard operating procedures*
- Utilize all available technology in order to create, assign, and complete tasks while also looking for opportunities to enhance processes within the system
- Train team on performing daily functions using the inventory management system, handheld scanners, and written standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with management to track team performance and provide feedback, addressing any issues and working to improve team productivity and morale*
- Honor company safety policies and procedures and work in partnership with the team to ensure a safe workplace

ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of related work experience preferred
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, special events, and holidays
- All full-time and part-time employees must be available to open and close twice a week

The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is expected to utilize team lifting techniques when lifting bulky items or items weighing above 50 pounds and up to 120 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
