Magnolia Retail - Store Operations Coordinator

SUMMARY

At Magnolia, the Store Operations Coordinator is responsible for communicating all information that is relevant and necessary to equip and inform the store teams. This position works with cross-functional departments to create streamlined and efficient communication and execution strategies for events, seasonal changes, promotions, and any other campaigns that affect the entities while maintaining a cohesive brand experience across the Silos property. This position works from the Silos Grounds in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Senior Manager of Operations and Logistics and has no supervisory responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage signage and creative needs for all Retail entities*
  • Create and manage communication for all stores
  • Provide event support and timeline communication for proper execution*
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of Scheduling and Zone Charts
  • Serve as point of contact for cross-functional departments for the planning of future promotions, campaigns, and events*
  • Coordinate and manage promotion and campaign needs to equip and inform entities*
  • Accurately input and update store spreadsheets and reports, and effectively handle the creation and distribution of retail memos*
  • Record expenses and maintain budget
  • Assist with scheduling interviews and sending new hire emails
  • Perform other duties as assigned

ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university preferred
  • 2-4 years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Must be available to work some weekends, evenings, special events, and holidays as business needs require

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; use hands and arms to reach, handle, feel; utilize fine motor dexterity of fingers; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is expected to utilize team lifting techniques when lifting bulky items or items weighing above 50 pounds and up to 120 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
