Digital Marketing Specialist
SUMMARY
At Magnolia, the Digital Marketing Specialist supports the execution, optimization, and reporting of digital marketing efforts across key channels including paid and organic search. This role plays a hands-on part in implementing and advancing Magnolia’s search engine optimization (SEO) strategy and managing pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns - particularly Google Ads - to drive qualified traffic, improve visibility, and support revenue growth. The Digital Marketing Specialist contributes to the success of product launches, sitewide promotions, and evergreen marketing initiatives by strengthening Magnolia’s online presence through thoughtful, data-informed digital tactics. This position works from Magnolia Headquarters in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Director of Digital Marketing and has no supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day execution of PPC campaigns across Google Ads, including Search, Shopping, Display, and Performance Max*
- Implement SEO strategies in partnership with Magnolia’s SEO agency, supporting both short- and long-term optimization initiatives to improve non-brand search rankings*
- Manage the smooth execution of campaigns by overseeing the entire process of trafficking and gathering all necessary creative elements well before the launch date*
- Deploy campaign tactics like optimizing keywords, managing audience lists, creating bid strategies, A/B testing and campaign tracking
- Provide QA support on all ad units to ensure optimal performance
- Support Magnolia’s marketing calendar by working closely with creative and ecommerce teams
- Support the Director of Digital Marketing with quarterly budget planning, traffic and revenue forecasting
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and on-page optimization to improve organic rankings and Search Engine Results Page (SERP) performance
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied across content, product pages, and site updates
- Build, optimize, and monitor campaigns to improve Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), conversion rates, and overall paid search efficiency*
- Optimize product shopping feeds to ensure accuracy and performance across digital advertising platforms
- Partner with the Director of Digital Marketing to develop testing roadmaps for ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned

ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university preferred
- 2-4 years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Proven experience with Google/Microsoft Ads, Google Search Console, and Digital Display Networks (Criteo, AdRoll); experience analyzing campaigns with Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics; Salesforce, experience with Channel Advisor, GoDataFed, SEMrush, MOZ, SpyFu, and Similarweb preferred
- Proven experience executing SEO strategies and managing PPC campaigns, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and with external agencies
