Magnolia Heating, Air & Plumbing is looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our growing team. If you have experience managing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in keeping financial records accurate and organized, we'd love to meet you.

This is a full-time, in-office position where you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of our company.

What You'll Do

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• Manage accounts payable, including coding, matching, and payment processing

• Generate customer invoices and monitor accounts receivable

• Apply customer payments and reconcile account balances

• Research and resolve billing discrepancies

• Reconcile vendor statements and assist with monthly account reconciliations

• Maintain organized financial records and documentation

• Support month-end closing activities

• Work closely with operations and leadership to ensure financial accuracy

• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• 2–3 years of Accounting Assistant, AP, and AR experience (required)

• Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software

• Experience in the home services, HVAC, plumbing, or construction industry is a plus
