We recently completed a $150 million Series D funding round, bringing our total funding to $254 million and valuing the company at $2.5 billion.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Product Manager to lead our Connected Data team. This team is responsible for the critical infrastructure that allows our customers to connect machine and sensor data to MaintainX, enabling predictive, condition-based, and usage-based maintenance workflows.

You will drive the roadmap and execution for how machine data - from IoT sensors, edge aggregators, enterprise data lakes or other industrial data solutions connects into our platform and creates value by unlocking predictive and other insights. This role sits at the intersection of data architecture, industrial integration, and customer experience.

This is a technical and highly strategic role that collaborates closely with our AI/ML (Asset Intelligence, Data Engineering and Go-to-Market teams to build scalable, intuitive, and resilient data connectivity solutions. The ideal candidate will bring structure and clarity to a technical space, turning diverse customer environments into common patterns and delivering reliable pathways to value.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for machine data connectivity across IoT sensors, protocols (e.g., MQTT, OPC UA), edge platforms (e.g. Ignition, Kepware), and cloud aggregators (e.g. Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
  • Define how industrial data enters MaintainX, creating clear data models, scalable pipelines, and elegant UX-enabled integrations for our customers.
  • Work closely with engineering to scope and prioritize complex initiatives involving data ingestion, edge-to-cloud pipelines, and unified data strategies.
  • Provide decisive, aligned direction to the engineering team, clarifying what matters most and keeping the team focused on outcomes.
  • Act as a simplifier: make the complex understandable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between engineering, AI/ML, customer teams, and leadership, ensuring clarity, alignment, and cross-functional momentum.
  • Partner with customers and field teams to understand common patterns of protocols, tools, and platforms - and turn those patterns into scalable product solutions.
  • Drive launch and adoption of core data connectivity features, ensuring users move from “data connected” to value realization as fast as possible.

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with a strong track record of leading product teams focused on data-driven use cases in B2B or industrial contexts.
  • Experience integrating structured (e.g., time-series data) and unstructured data across source systems to drive user-facing insights and outcomes.
  • Strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity and is skilled at creating clarity for others.
  • Technically fluent: able to work side-by-side with senior engineers and data architects while influencing architecture and execution.
  • Experience simplifying messy integration problems - building generalizable, modular solutions that scale across a fragmented data connectivity ecosystem.
  • Confident communicator who can navigate strong technical voices, align stakeholders, and create a sense of shared purpose.
  • Bonus: background in industrial IoT, experience working with edge connectivity platforms, knowledge of Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, or predictive maintenance.

What’s In It For You:

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity opportunities.
  • Healthcare, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) / RRSP enrolment program.
  • Take what you need PTO.
  • A Work Culture where:
    • You’ll work alongside folks across the globe that reflect the MaintainX values, Smart Humble Optimist.
    • We believe in meritocracy, where ideas and effort are publicly celebrated.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
