We are looking for an AI IoT Connectivity Associate to join our team at our offices in Montreal, Quebec or Raleigh, North Carolina.

What you’ll do:

  • Monitor and ensure day-to-day connectivity of gateways and IoT vibration sensors.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting when hardware goes offline.
  • Guide clients step-by-step to reconnect sensors and gateways when necessary.
  • Document recurring issues and escalate complex problems to consultants.
  • Identify high-level anomalies or patterns in vibration data (e.g., spikes, connectivity drops, unusual trends).
  • Flag potential issues to the vibration analyst team for deeper review.
  • Learn the fundamentals of vibration analysis through on-the-job training.
  • Contribute to building internal troubleshooting guides and best practices.

About you:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field preferred).
  • Curious, fast learner, and resourceful in figuring out technical issues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable explaining technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Basic knowledge of networking, IoT, or industrial equipment is an asset (but not required).
  • Interest in vibration analysis, condition monitoring, or predictive maintenance is a plus (training provided by MaintainX).
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to improve processes.
  • Eager to gain hands-on experience in IoT, industrial technology, and customer-facing problem-solving.
