We’re looking for a Manager of Operational Technology & Integration Solutions to lead a high-impact team responsible for designing, validating, and delivering scalable operational technology (OT) and integration solutions for our largest customers. This role will partner closely with Sales, Professional Services, Product, and Engineering to drive successful technical outcomes during complex, high-value deal cycles.

What you’ll do: 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of OT and integration-focused solutions consultants.
  • Implement best-in-class processes for technical discovery, proof-of-concept development, and solution design.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning around automation technologies, integration tooling, and industry best practices.
  • Partner with Sales on large, strategic opportunities to craft compelling, technically sound solution architectures.
  • Oversee technical scoping, feasibility assessments, POCs, and solution walkthroughs to help accelerate deal velocity and win rates.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in automation frameworks, industrial protocols, IoT/OT connectivity, and enterprise data flows.
  • Guide customers on best practices for integrating MaintainX with OT systems, MES/ERP platforms, sensors, and automation gateways.
  • Work cross-functionally to align customer requirements with MaintainX’s product roadmap and platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to provide structured customer feedback and advocate for enhancements that support enterprise-level automation and integrations.
  • Partner with Professional Services to ensure a smooth handoff from pre-sales to post-sales implementation.
  • Contribute to repeatable solution assets, including architecture templates, integration playbooks, and automation reference designs.

About you:

  • 2–5 years of people management experience within solutions engineering, solutions architecture, integration engineering, OT/automation, or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of operational technology, including industrial control systems, PLCs, MES, SCADA, IoT/automation, or manufacturing automation environments.
  • Experience designing or supporting API-based integrations, data workflows, or automation solutions.
  • Proven success partnering with sales teams on large, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable solution designs.
  • Strong project leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Experience working on new process creation and optimization.
  • A proactive and customer-centric mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

While not required, it would be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms, integration middleware (e.g., iPaaS), or enterprise architecture.
  • Experience in condition-based maintenance or predictive maintenance industries.
  • Familiarity with vibration analysis tools and principles.
  • Prior experience with IoT-based sensors or asset management software.
  • Familiarity with integration tools such as Workato, Tray.io and/or Zapier
