Lead Product Manager, Reporting and Platform
MaintainX is the world's leading Asset and Work Intelligence platform for industrial and frontline environments. We are a modern IoT-enabled cloud-based tool for reliability, safety, and operations on physical equipment and facilities. MaintainX powers operational excellence for 13,000 businesses including Duracell, Univar Solutions Inc., Titan America, McDonald's, Brenntag, Cintas, Xylem, and Shell.
We recently completed a $150 million Series D funding round, bringing our total funding to $254 million and valuing the company at $2.5 billion.
We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to oversee the Platform and Reporting capabilities in our Core division. This division contains the bulk of MaintainX features that our customers use everyday, including work orders, parts inventories, and other frontline workflows and analytics. We are looking for someone with deep experience as a Platform PM serving customers with complex data products and experience evolving these capabilities into a differentiator in the Enterprise segment. As MaintainX moves upmarket, our products need to broaden their scope from serving front-line executors and line managers to serving a more diverse and senior set of stakeholders within the Enterprise — if this excites you, we want to speak to you!
What you'll do:
- Own our Platform capabilities by acting as a product bridge between Core, Infrastructure, and Data Engineering teams. You’ll defining the data contracts, data models, and platform capabilities that power your reporting and analytics products
- Own our Reporting capabilities end-to-end, leveraging data, user research and competitive/market analysis to help shape the strategy for how our customers interact with and consume the data within MaintainX
- Spearhead our ROI initiative to make plain the operational benefits of partnering with MaintainX within the product surface
- Execute on a mixture of large innovations and smaller quality-of-life improvements to supercharge our product and our sales team’s ability to close Fortune 5000 companies.
- Work closely with the sales team to directly help close large deals by crisply articulating how our reporting and analytics capabilities meet the needs of other senior operational stakeholders
- Evolve our reporting and analytics products from serving frontline managers to a broader enterprise audience, including ops leaders, finance, and EHS stakeholders.
- Inspire and motivate a team of designers and engineers to achieve ambitious outcomes, defining and measuring success using metrics
About you:
- 8+ years in product management with meaningful time in a platform or infrastructure-adjacent capacity, ideally at a company serving Enterprise customers
- Proven experience building customer-facing analytics or reporting products, with enough understanding of the underlying data modeling and pipeline decisions to hold your own with data and infrastructure engineers
- Comfortable navigating cross-team data dependencies — able to define requirements upstream (data, infra, platform) while staying laser-focused on downstream customer outcomes
- Experience partnering directly with sales as a company moves upmarket from SMB to Enterprise, including getting into deals and translating complex product capabilities for senior buyers
- Track record of expanding a product's audience — from operational end-users to more senior or diverse stakeholders like operations leaders, finance, or EHS functions
- Can make smart scope trade-offs on dependency-heavy features, knowing when to ship something narrow and when to hold for a more complete solution
- Able to inspire and rally a team around a clear vision, strategy, and roadmap — and connect day-to-day work to specific KPIs and business goals
- Strong relationship-builder who can work credibly across all levels, from ICs to executives
- Strong pattern recognition — knows how to apply proven solutions to new contexts without over-engineering
What’s in it for you:
- Competitive salary and meaningful equity opportunities.
- Healthcare, dental, and vision coverage.
- 401(k) / RRSP enrolment program.
- Take what you need PTO.
- A Work Culture where:
- You’ll work alongside folks across the globe that reflect the MaintainX values, Smart Humble Optimist.
- We believe in meritocracy, where ideas and effort are publicly celebrated.
