Residential Boiler Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Boiler Specialist to join our team in Colorado. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing residential heating systems, specifically boilers, in homes across the region. This role requires in-depth technical knowledge of residential boilers and heating systems, as well as the ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation: Install residential boilers and associated heating systems per manufacturer specifications, local codes, and safety standards.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and servicing of residential boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning or inefficient boiler systems, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
  • System Evaluation: Conduct system evaluations to determine the most efficient heating solutions for customers and recommend system upgrades or replacements when necessary.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain services, answer questions, and provide professional recommendations.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work complies with state and local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Documentation: Complete accurate service records and reports, including customer interactions, work performed, and parts used.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of parts and equipment and ensure tools are in good working order.
  • Training: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new technology, and best practices in residential heating systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a boiler technician, HVAC technician, or similar role. Experience with residential heating systems required.
  • Valid HVAC, Boiler, or related certifications preferred. Colorado state licensing for heating or plumbing (if applicable).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of residential boiler systems, including gas, electric, and oil systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools, work in confined spaces, and perform manual labor as required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the ability to work safely in high-pressure environments.

Pay Range

$70,000 - $90,000 USD
