This impersonator is utilizing an email address with the domain manscapedjobs.com or manscapedcareers.com and is making fraudulent offers for our open jobs. Contact from MANSCAPED will only ever come from someone with a manscaped.com email address.

This is a scam targeting a number of companies, us included. If you receive any of these types of messages, we recommend that you don’t respond with any information and that you block and report those users.

Who We’re Looking For -Reporting to the Director, AccountingMANSCAPED® is seeking Manager, Cost Accounting to oversee all aspects of cost accounting and inventory valuation to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). This role will lead a team of cost accountants, partner with our Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and FP&A teams, and provide strategic insights to improve cost efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and develop the cost accounting team, ensuring high performance, professional growth, and a culture of accountability 
  • Establish and maintain cost accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls 
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management 
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes related to cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory 
  • Provide cost analysis to assist in pricing decisions and margin improvement strategies 
  • Partner with Operations and Procurement teams to identify cost-saving opportunities 
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Accounting teams to align cost data with financial statements 
  • Manage cost accounting aspects of external audits 
  • Drive enhancements in ERP system (NetSuite) and cost accounting processes for better accuracy and efficiency 
  • Implement best practices for cost tracking and analysis 
  • Provide cost analysis for new product introductions, capital projects, and purchasing decisions 
  • Maintain accurate cost data for scenario planning and contingency analysis 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred) 
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in cost accounting leadership 
  • Demonstrate ability to lead and develop a cost accounting team, including goal setting, coaching, and managing teams competing priorities 
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost structures and ERP systems (NetSuite experience required) 
  • Experience designing and maintaining cost accounting internal controls 
  • Experience developing pricing support models and margin analysis frameworks to inform commercial decision-making 
  • Proficiency in scenario planning and contingency cost modeling, with the ability to translate assumptions into financial projections for leadership decision-making 
  • Experience leading ERP enhancements or system implementations related to cost accounting modules 
  • Proficiency in Excel for complex financial modeling, including pivot tables, Power Query, and advanced formulas for cost analysis  
  • Proven ability to diagnose complex cost problems, develop data-driven solutions, and communicate findings and recommendations clearly 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities 
  • Extensive experience collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Demand Planning, Procurement, and FP&A to align on cost initiatives

Compensation Range

$125,000 - $135,000 USD
