We’re looking for a Research Ops Manager to manage our research processes, knowledge hubs, and cross-functional collaborations.
As part of growing our research capabilities, your role will be pivotal in scaling the impact of research and streamlining field data collection across Manychat. This position requires a structured thinker who thrives on organizing knowledge.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 🚀
Research Operations
- Maintain and improve research enablement documentation, processes, and knowledge hubs.
- Oversee participant recruitment workflows, ensuring efficiency and strict adherence to data privacy regulations.
- Manage the tools, platforms, and systems that power our research efforts (e.g., Dovetail, Lyssana, Notion, Miro).
Research Enablement
- Monitor and refine research processes to ensure alignment with product team operations, supporting increased research maturity and impact.
- Organize and manage research archives, ensuring historical data is both accessible and actionable.
- Embed data privacy and ethical standards into all research activities, and educate teams on best practices for handling research data.
Knowledge Management
- Gather, audit, and maintain a range of research data and insight reports across repositories for easy discovery and application.
- Create and manage tagging structures, templates, and workflows that help teams produce, categorize, and share research insights effectively.
- Keep operational management systems up to date, driving internal knowledge sharing and organizational learning.
Stakeholder Collaboration

- Partner with product designers, UX researchers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align research operations with project goals and timelines.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication to amplify the impact of research outcomes—e.g., sharing evergreen insights on Slack or internal channels.
- Help build a culture of continuous discovery by increasing awareness of research initiatives and findings across the organization.

- Cross-Functional Alignment: Transparent processes that allow product, design, and engineering teams to collaborate seamlessly on research goals.
- Culture of Continuous Discovery: Research findings are regularly shared, championed, and utilized to inform product strategy, roadmaps and feature development.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING 💥
- Experience & Education: 6+ years in research operations or a related role (UX, design, or knowledge management), plus a degree in HCI, Psychology, Social Sciences, Library Science, Information Architecture, or a related field.
- Operational Expertise: Proven ability to manage research insight repositories, classification systems, and participant recruitment processes.
- Privacy & Ethics Knowledge: Familiarity with data privacy regulations and ethical research practices.
- UX Research Foundations: Understanding of user research methodologies and maturity models, with an ability to coach others on research and discovery best practices.
- Tools Mastery: Proficient with research and collaboration platforms (Norstat, Lyssana, Alchemer, Dovetail, Miro, Figma, Notion) and comfortable supporting teams of varying research expertise.
- Project Management: Adept at balancing day-to-day execution with long-term operational strategy, ensuring continuous improvement of research processes.
- Communication Skills: Proven ability to convey complex operational details to multidisciplinary stakeholders, driving alignment and engagement.
