We're building our first dedicated Business Operations function from the ground up, and we’re looking for a sharp, solutions-oriented generalist to help us do it. As our Business Operations Specialist, you’ll work at the center of it all: coordinating cross-functional initiatives, building operational frameworks, and ensuring things run smoothly as we scale.
You’ll report directly to our Chief of Staff, with the opportunity to influence every corner of the company. If you’re someone who thrives on variety, brings clarity to complexity, and wants to grow your career in business ops at a high-growth company, this role was built for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO 🚀
- Coordinate the quarterly OKR process from planning to tracking, making sure every team is aligned on their goals and progress.
- Plan and manage company-wide meetings and events, including All Hands and leadership syncs, to ensure they're purposeful and drive action.
- Maintain reporting systems that track critical metrics and deliver insights to help leadership make informed decisions.
- Provide project support across departments, acting as the operational glue for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Support the Chief of Staff in rolling out processes for goal-setting, planning, and accountability.
- Create and manage documentation that supports knowledge-sharing without slowing us down.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, starting with optimizing our company-wide OKR process.
- Evaluate and improve operational tools and systems, making sure they power our operations.
- Keep communication flowing smoothly, ensuring teams are informed and nothing falls through the cracks.
- Guide change management efforts, helping teams adopt new processes and ways of working.
TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE đź’Ą
You’ll need:
- 2-3 years in operations, consulting, project management, or similar generalist roles
- Experience with early-stage startup operations, consulting, or business operations at a scaling company
- Generalist mindset with enthusiasm for variety and diving into different types of challenges rather than specializing in one area.
- Comfort using tools like Notion, Asana, Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Proactive problem solving mindset with a strong ability to spot issues before they escalate and take action to resolve them.
- Action-oriented approach, with a natural drive to improve how things work and move initiatives forward.
- Collaborative spirit, enjoying cross-team work and helping others succeed
- Growth mindset, with enthusiasm for learning new aspects of business operations and developing professionally.
- Great communication skills, being clear, concise, and engaging in both written and verbal interactions.
- Stakeholder management confidence, working effectively with everyone from individual contributors to senior leaders.
- Comfort with ambiguity, thriving in situations where you need to figure things out as you go.
