WHO WE ARE 🌍

We help creators get more out of every conversation with Instagram-focused automations and support for other channels like Messenger, WhatsApp, and TikTok. The result? Better engagement, more sales, and real, sustainable growth.

With a diverse team of 400+ people spread across three continents, we’re building the leading Chat Marketing platform that is used — and loved — by more than 1.5 million customers worldwide.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🌟

Manychat powers over a billion conversations a year. We need someone who cares deeply about every word in them.

You'll write across campaigns, ads, social, and events. The briefs will vary. The bar won't. What we're really hiring is taste (oh and the craft to execute it at pace, across formats, without losing the thread of who we are, in harmonic collaboration with multiple other humans who care deeply about outcomes, not outputs.)

We’re looking for someone with a genuine point of view on what good looks like. A portfolio that shows range and intention. The ability to channel a brand voice without becoming flat and obvious over time. The kind of person who rewrites a sentence at 11pm because it wasn't quite right, and nobody asked them to.

You concept (that is a verb now). You ask sharp questions before you pick up a pen (ask your grandma what a pen is). You take feedback without turning red in the ears, but can also defend a f***ing opinion. Nicely, pls..

WHAT YOU'LL DO 🚀

  • Write show-stopping event, campaign, and ad copy that makes people feel something (and then click, if they wouldn’t mind).
  • Build campaigns that spark conversation, screenshots, and Slack DMs that say “did you see this?”
  • Take creative swings that blur the line between art and strategy. BUT STAY ON BRIEF FOR GOD’S SAKE.
  • Channel the audience (creators on Social who mean business!) and our brand voice at the same time. Write like us, but for them. Does that make sense? It should.
  • You’re writing for the big leagues: Millions in ad spend, Webby-winning content, brand activations at the world’s biggest events. PSAs for every stall in the Austin bathrooms.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING 💥

  • A portfolio stacked with campaigns that were culturally resonant and moved the needle (we use needles here).
  • Hopefully a combo of agency AND brand AND tech experience. Is that too much to ask for? Please at least check two boxes, but know that triple boxers have the edge.
  • The contact info of a few people who will swear by your work. We’re talking “I would not be alive today if not for their copywriting skills”.
  • Several years of experience doing all of this. My kid thinks ‘several’ means 6 to 9. Let’s go with that. In rare cases we’ll accept a mere handful years of experience.
  • Oh and you’ll also have to bring yourself to an office in Austin. If Austin is far away, you are willing to make it much closer. We can help this happen with a cunning use of money.

WHAT WE OFFER 🤗

We care deeply about your growth, well-being, and comfort:

  • 📚 Annual professional development reimbursement for conference tickets, online courses, and other relevant resources to help you grow.
  • 💙Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.
  • 🪴 Hybrid work and generous leave options to prioritize your work-life balance.
  • 🍽️ In-office perks, including free meals and snacks.
  • 🤝 Company-funded sport activities, annual offsites and team-building events.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
