We are looking for a structured and proactive Resource Manager to support our Experience Strategy & Design capability, a central part of the CRM, marketing automation and personalisation powerhouse that is VML MAP.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating resources across projects, balancing business needs, team capacity, for our amazing team in Copenhagen. 

You will work closely with team leads and Client Engagement and Delivery teams to ensure the right people are staffed on the right work at the right time. The role requires strong planning skills, commercial understanding, and the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The term of the role is 12 months.

What will your day look like?

  • Own resource planning and allocation across the Experience Strategy & Design team.
  • Know the team: match project needs with skills, seniority, availability and development opportunities, and monitor team capacity, utilisation and forecasting on a daily basis.
  • Partner with Heads of Experience Strategy & Design, Experience Directors and team leaders on staffing decisions and priorities through weekly (and sometimes daily) check-ins. Liaise directly with internal stakeholders (e.g. points of contact in CE&D and the Growth team) as needed to plan staffing.
  • Identify resource gaps, overbooking and delivery risks, and proactively support solutions. Manage holiday requests and support Workbook approvals. Monitor team wellbeing.
  • Support improvements to resourcing processes, planning routines and ways of working with business support teams and capability leadership.

At the VML MAP headquarters in Copenhagen, you will become part of a dynamic and international environment where you will get plenty of opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills. 

Your work will depend on collaboration with the wider VML MAP teams, which means you will get to collaborate closely with experts from our technology, data, creative, and client teams from our offices globally. 

In addition, you will be working with our clients, both management and specialists, across many of their functions including marketing, sales, digital and technology. Our global clients span across multiple industries including FMCG, retailers, fashion, automotive, and financial services. 

What do you bring to the table?

  • Demonstrated Experience in resource management, workstream management, operations, or project management  
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent/professional proficiency in English  
  • Strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills 
  • Comfortable working with forecasting, utilization, and capacity data 
  • Organized, proactive, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience from an agency, consultancy, or other project-based environment is an advantage
  • Ability to work from a Copenhagen office.
