What will your day look like?

As Global Operations Manager, you will define and implement the overall operational direction and global strategy for your client. You will lead cross-regional delivery teams to ensure global alignment and efficiency, while maintaining strategic oversight. 

More specifically, your tasks include: 

• Identifying commercial potential, organizational improvements and technical optimization across your local delivery teams 

• In-house stakeholder management to ensure operational strategies align with client and agency goals 

• Share learnings and best practices across regional teams to align with global objectives 

• Managing the global resources, team utilization, and financial accuracy for monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews 

• Establishing and optimizing standards, processes, and best practices for global streamlining 

• Driving the commercial potential and output on your client in a positive direction 

• Implementing global risk management and ensuring business continuity 

• Acting as a key liaison in MO for internal and external stakeholders on your client 

• Reporting to executive management on global performance and learnings 
   

International travel is expected as a natural part of this role. 

Who are you going to work with?

You will join +200 skilled colleagues in Marketing Operations based in Copenhagen, Lisbon, Toronto, Bangkok and San Jose. This role is based in Copenhagen HQ but will lead and develop several local teams across our global footprint in Marketing Operations, which involves extensive collaboration with colleagues and senior stakeholders worldwide. 

You’ll work closely with VML MAP senior leadership, cross-functional departments, and top-tier clients to shape and execute global operational direction that drives strategic and commercial success.

As a person, you are a strategic thinker with strong commercial and analytical understanding. You are a result-driven and inspiring leader with exceptional stakeholder management skills and a good ability to manage structural complexity. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, naturally balancing people, business and client needs when making decisions on behalf of your client, your teams and our company.  
 
In addition, you have: 

• A relevant higher education degree within marketing, management, communications, finance or a related field 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience from a global senior role 

• Proven experience in change management, account management or project leadership on a global scale 

• Proven experience in leading global process improvements, organizational streamlining or cross-functional collaboration across multiple time zones 

• Strong strategic and analytical skills as well as a data-driven approach 

• Stellar communication skills. Fluent in English, both written and spoken
