
Electrical Engineer
Summary:
The Electrical Engineer will lead a team in developing and commercializing 2PIC products, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, managing project timelines and deliverables, and providing expertise in SCADA, HMI, and related systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for automation solutions.
- Manage a team of engineers and developers, ensuring project timelines and deliverables are met with high quality standards.
- Provide input, feedback, design, ideation, and other assistance relating to the development and commercialization of 2PIC products and related systems and services.
- Emphasis on electrical systems - Provide feedback and assist with the design, component selection, and layout of electrical systems within and supporting 2PIC products.
- Emphasis on supporting systems and processes - Serve as a subject matter expert for passthroughs, as well as assist with the development of processes relating to 2PIC product certification, installation, operations, and maintenance.
- Emphasis on controls - Assist with the design, development, testing, implementation, and long-term support and feature enhancement of the SCADA, HMI, and related systems and services that facilitate the electro-mechanical operation of our 2PIC products.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, gained practical experience under a licensed PE, and passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam.
- 10+ years of experience in automation systems development, datacenter SCADA and HMI experience is a plus.
- Strong programming skills in either: Java, Python, or JS, and experience with databases.
- Proficient in UNIX, Linux Shell scripting and Windows operating systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- 5+ Years of cumulative work experience in the following areas:
- Programming/Commissioning of HMI, PLC, and VFD’s
- SCADA systems
- Interpreting, modifying and approving mechanical and electrical drawings
- Equipment Control Components
- Relays, Motor Starters, VFD’s, HMI’s, etc.
