Engineering Intern (Summer 2025)

SUMMARY:

The Engineering Intern will be responsible for supporting our MIS team in various tasks and projects aimed at improving efficiency and productivity. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in engineering and MIS. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Analyzing and resolving bug tickets in Jira
• Collaborating with team members to identify and fix software issues
• Writing and testing code in Python to address bugs and improve system functionality
• Participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
• Supporting the team with administrative tasks as needed

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g. MIS, Computer Science, Engineering)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Familiarity with Jira or other issue tracking systems
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
