Government Relations & Policy Intern (Fall 2025)

Applications for Fall interns will open on August 5th, 2025 and close on August 15th, 2025.  

Interns must be currently enrolled in a university and eligible to work in the United States.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Support the development of advocacy materials, such as position papers, regulatory comment drafts, or informational handouts, with guidance from the team. 
  • Assist in organizing community outreach or grassroots efforts to amplify MARA’s policy 
    positions, such as coordinating volunteers or preparing outreach materials. 
  • Help track and document advocacy campaign progress, including timelines, milestones, and outcomes, to ensure accurate updates for the team. 
  • Collect data on policy outcomes or engagement activities as directed, such as compiling 
    legislative updates or tracking stakeholder interactions. 
  • Assist in preparing summaries, charts, or visuals for leadership to highlight federal advocacy efforts, policy wins, or political contributions. 
  • Provide administrative assistance, including scheduling meetings, organizing briefings, and 
    managing correspondence with stakeholders like government officials or industry partners. 
  • Support event planning and coordination, such as arranging logistics for policy briefings, industry events, or meetings with congressional staff.

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g. Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Government, etc.) 
  • Strong interest in blockchain technologies and the energy sector  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative 
  • Detail-oriented and organized 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
