Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Department team as a Sr. Accountant, General Ledger. As a Senior Accountant, General Ledger you will be a key member of the accounting team primarily responsible for the accounting of accruals relating to operating expenses, credit cards and royalties. You will process month end activities, prepare supporting schedule for SEC reporting and prepare other items for annual and quarter end reviews.
How you will make an impact:
- Timely completion of month end process including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accruals (operating expenses, credit cards and royalties).
- Support other GL activities (CIP, Fixed Assets, Allocations, Prepaids and Cash Transactions).
- Prepare supporting schedules for SEC reporting disclosures when necessary.
- Ensure that internal/external auditor requests for the annual audit and quarter reviews are accurately and timely prepared in support of public company requirements.
- Liaise with other departments, including HR, Accounting, Finance, Payroll, Tax and Legal to ensure key stakeholders are informed and aligned as appropriate.
- Identify and/or support continuous improvements to systems, processes, and internal controls.
- Perform other functions and duties as required.

The skills and experience that you will bring:
- 3+ years of experience in internal audit, finance, or accounting in a fast-paced corporate environment
- CPA preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Experience with NetSuite or BlackLine preferred
- Must demonstrate attention to detail, analytical abilities, and consistent follow-through, including project management skills
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies, developing strong relationships
The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 annually. In addition, highly competitive long-term incentives in the form of company equity, bonus participation and company sponsored benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
