Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Quality Assurance team as a Temporary Document Control Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining documents to ensure they are accurate, accessible, and compliant with relevant regulations. Plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing our company's records. You'll be responsible for organizing, tracking, and maintaining hard copy and electronic documents. Additionally, you'll ensure that all files and folders are named appropriately for easy access and retrieval.
How you will make an impact:
- Play a vital role in the Quality System by managing all company-controlled documentation, including drawings, specifications, production batch records, test records, and lab notebooks in both printed and electronic formats.
- Efficiently scan documents such as raw data, specifications, validation protocols, reports, and more, ensuring they are accurately digitized and stored.
- Ensure batch records and other critical documents are issued in line with the manufacturing schedule, keeping operations running smoothly.
- Keep paperwork and records up-to-date following established document control procedures, maintaining an organized and compliant system.
- Monitor and track all documents issued, received, archived, and removed within the Document Control System(s), ensuring no detail is missed.
- Categorize binders into various groups (e.g., QC, QA, VAL) within the Document Control System(s) for easy access and reference.
- Oversee the archiving and retrieval of controlled records, supporting a robust document control system.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the Document Control Assistant role.
- Take on other responsibilities and tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success and organization of the team.
- Perform other functions and duties as required
The skills and experience that you will bring:
- HS or higher education
- Prior knowledge of an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of document control best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities with a knack for conflict resolution.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and email.
- Comfortable to lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00 per hour. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
