Your next role as a Miracle Maker 

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our alliance management team as an Alliance manager II. This role will be responsible for the execution and management of all aspects of TriLink key accounts and customer programs. The Alliance Manager II is responsible for owning the contractual relationship and commitments of a managed account, along with interfacing with operations, commercial sales, finance, quality, and engineering teams to meet contractual obligations and customer goals. This role is responsible for the key elements of the customer journey pertaining to negotiation of license and supply agreements, identifying and implementing unique contractual mechanisms, and defending TriLink and the business P&L by partnering with managed accounts to enforce contractual terms and obligations. This role is critical to provide an excellent customer experience and establish long term partnerships with our clients.

How you will make an impact: 

  • Solely manages up to 7+ Alliance Partnerships across the License Holder and Supply Agreement Holder customer profiles for both OEM and biopharmaceutical customer segments.
  • Ensures retention, growth, and customer satisfaction of accounts.
  • Works closely with Business Development, Legal, and Commerical Leadership to support negotiation of new alliances, where appropriate, and acts as a liaison with Business Development to ensure a smooth transition of new customers as they onboard to being overseen by the Alliance Management team.
  • Be an internal customer advocate to operationalize supply orders and demand to ensure that required products are delivered on time and in full.
  • Direct, lead, and motivate multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver results throughout the life of the program or key account while also supporting customer engagement by being a liaison between the customer and internally facing teams.
  • Advise senior management and internal stakeholders on strategies and status of customer demand, forecasts, and health.
  • Manage and grow existing strategic alliance partner relationships including ongoing communications, periodic reviews, and facilitating routine interactions (QBR's, operational meetings, etc.).
  • Works within the contract boundaries and customer relationship to defend binding and non-binding revenue commitments and works proactively to ensure that there is visibility to Commercial and Business Leadership on revenue risks or push-outs.
  • Understand company and partner supply chain and other critical factors to ensure timely delivery of products that support client production demands.
  • Facilitate internal meetings to support design, production, and problem resolution.
  • Monitor performance metrics and proactively address program and functional issues.
  • Take ownership of tracking overall team progress and provide detailed management status reports, including KPIs.
  • Perform other functions and duties as required.

 The skills and experience that you will bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant direct experience in commercial customer-facing alliance manager/project/program management or a role.
  • Experience as a cross-functional leader with demonstrated life sciences/chemistry manufacturing operations results.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, such as NetSuite, a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and MS Project
  • Experience with 21 CFR 820, ICH Q7, ISO 9001, and/or ISO 13485 requirements a plus.
  • Ability to assist in facilitating progressive change.
  • Self-motivated and able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to manage stress and balance competing demands in a high throughput environment.
  • Time Management Skills and familiarity with goal setting

The anticipated salary range for this position is $66,337 - $82,060. In addition, highly competitive long-term incentives in the form of company equity, bonus participation and company sponsored benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
