Position Summary:
The Senior Manager of Financial Operations will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations’ service offerings of the DFO Finance & Accounting pillar which includes procurement, expense management, accounts payable, and corporate credit card administration. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing the controls posture within the F&A pillar. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial management.
Day-to-day responsibilities would include a combination of the following:
- Lead and manage the financial operations team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize finance operations performance.
- Manage key financial operations processes including procurement, expense management, accounts payable, and corporate credit card administration.
- Ensure compliance with DFO Machines, Policies, and standards.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive financial efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze financial key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Support financial audits and coordinate with both internal and external auditors.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial management or Procure to Pay (P2P), with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
- Proven experience in managing financial operations and shared services functions
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Preferred Education and Experience
- MBA
- At least 7 years of Procure to Pay (P2P) management experience
Compensation:
Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary in the range from $160,000 -$200,000 (inclusive of a merit-based bonus, dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset) and an excellent benefits package, including a comprehensive employer paid medical plan and generous employer match for 401k.
