Job Overview

Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a hands-on and technically skilled Technical Service Engineer to support technical service operations, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and customer-facing engineering support within high-tech and semiconductor-related environments.

This role is responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support, assisting with system integration, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and helping resolve technical issues related to equipment, systems, and materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering foundation, mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external customers, suppliers, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, internal teams, and project stakeholders
  • Support equipment installation, setup, commissioning, and startup activities
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve equipment, system, or product failures
  • Assist with system integration, product validation, performance optimization, and technical testing
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, engineering teams, and customers to resolve technical challenges
  • Support the Business Development team by providing technical expertise during client discussions and project evaluations
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, manuals, and product documentation
  • Document service activities, troubleshooting findings, issue resolutions, and technical recommendations in service reports
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with technical specifications, safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures
  • Participate in product training, continuous improvement initiatives, and process optimization efforts

Qualifications - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field
  • 1–5+ years of experience in technical service, field engineering, technical support, equipment support, or a similar role preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, manuals, and engineering documentation
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, sales, vendors, suppliers, and customers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, industrial, or cleanroom environments
  • Experience supporting equipment installation, system integration, field service, commissioning, or startup activities
  • Experience working directly with customers in a technical service or engineering support capacity
  • Familiarity with technical reporting, service documentation, and issue tracking
  • Multilingual ability preferred, especially Mandarin; Spanish is a plus

Work Environment

  • Combination of office, field, and customer-site environments
  • May require local travel for installation, service support, troubleshooting, and customer visits
  • Requires the ability to work in fast-paced, technical, and high-specification environments
