ID.me is building the identity layer of the internet—and with it, is establishing a new category. As we scale, we’re investing in marketing that drives awareness, trust, growth, and engagement. This role combines Product Marketing rigor with Brand leadership to position ID.me as the category leader and launch products and campaigns that resonate with consumers. Together, we’ll fuel growth and build an iconic brand that redefines digital identity.

Role Overview
Location: Mountain View, CA (full-time in-office)

We are seeking a strategic, insights-driven marketing leader to build and lead our consumer integrated marketing. This role unites product marketing and brand strategy, shaping how our products are positioned, how our brand is expressed, and how both come together in the market. You will be the strategic architect of our story—aligning brand health with product adoption and engagement to fuel business growth.

You’ll build strategies that strengthen brand trust and awareness, launch products that matter, and design integrated campaigns that inspire engagement. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring equal parts creativity, insights and analytical rigor, and cross-functional influence.


Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy: Define and evolve ID.me's brand and product positioning and messaging frameworks. Use audience, market and performance insights to drive strategies that drive business objectives.

Integrated Campaign Leadership: Architect integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned, earned, and lifecycle channels. Author clear, insight-rich creative and media briefs that guide internal teams and agency partners. Ensure campaigns are emotionally resonant, strategically aligned, and performance-driven.

Brand Health & Business Impact: Define and track key brand metrics such as awareness, perception, and trust. Connect brand performance to engagement and growth KPIs, using data and insights to refine and optimize campaigns.

Cross-Functional Influence: Collaborate across Product, Lifecycle, Creative, Comms, Sales, and Customer Success to align marketing strategy across the business. Serve as the strategic bridge between senior business leaders and marketing execution teams.

Storytelling & Content Strategy: Guide brand storytelling that simplifies complex topics like digital identity and security into relatable narratives. Develop content that drives SEO/AEO. Develop campaign playbooks that align storytelling with product launches and strategic initiatives.

Internal Brand Advocacy: Champion the brand across the organization, ensuring all experiences—from marketing to product UX to support—reinforce trust and credibility.

Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team by hiring, developing, and mentoring talent. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth within the marketing organization.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • 12+ years of experience in product marketing, brand leadership, strategic marketing, or integrated campaigns.
  • Deep experience in B2C marketing; background in trust-driven industries trust like identity, fintech, or health is a plus.
  • Proven success developing marketing strategies that create both emotional connection and commercial results.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to guide decisions and optimize performance.
  • Proven success partnering with creative and media to lead high-impact campaigns.
  • Inspirational leadership with the ability to build a high-performing team, rally cross-functional partners, and drive alignment in dynamic environments.

The annual base salary listed does not include a company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity and benefits which will be determined based on experience, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location and role.
