About the Role

We’re looking for a self motivated and curious Financial Operations Lead to join our growing team!  In this role, you will focus on the daily operations behind our decentralized custody marketplace and reporting processes. Additionally, you will help build out cash reporting and ensure we are adhering to treasury best practices. You will have an immediate impact as you partner with Product, Legal, and our Asset Management team to build and continuously improve our internal systems and processes including our proprietary blockchain technology. Partnering with key members on the Finance and Operations team, you’ll have an opportunity to help build out the Company’s Financial Operations team as we scale. This is an exciting opportunity to get exposure to blockchain and how it will reinvent the financial services industry.

What you’ll do

  • Manage marketplace operations while ensuring compliance with legal agreements including but not limited to routine wire activity, bank relationships, and crypto tracking
  • Effectively communicate and help streamline cross functionally for collecting required data and information and resolve any outstanding questions for the finance team
  • Collaborate with the Accounting department to help with the month-end close process in regards to fiat and crypto operations as needed
  • Own and communicate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as directed by legal agreements and critical business metrics
  • Continuously improve upon existing processes to increase scalability of operations
  • Track and monitor crypto activity as we develop and scale novel products
  • Assist finance team as needed for asset reporting and liquidity forecasting 

What we look for

  • 5+ years in the financial services industry 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Familiarity with crypto operations, wallet management, and data tracking/reporting from nodes and or blockchain explorers
  • Familiarity with Fund operations and working with Fund admins
  • Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to pick up new platforms such as Tableau
  • Transparent communication and relationship building skills to effectively work cross functionally
  • Proven organization skills and ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform and thrive in a startup environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to work with limited direction and get things done
  • Curiosity and drive to learn more and help out where needed

For CO, NY, CA and WA residents, the salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000 year. Actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience and location.
