 Warehouse Facilities - Aerospace Talent Hub  

Our security patrol is boots-on-the-ground staying active, alert, and visible by checking fences, gates, and cameras while logging activity. We add another layer of protection and visibility. Checking high-traffic areas, doors, stairwells and public areas. Our vehicle patrol will cover the larger areas around the facility. Our Gate Officers will make sure all that enters has the authority to be there.

$24.00 - $26.00 p.hr

Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
  • Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
  • Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
  • Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
  • Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
  • Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
  • Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
  • Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
  • Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
  • Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
  • Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
  • Other duties to be determined by operations

 

Qualifications: 

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Valid FL Security D License
  • Valid FL Driver’s License
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Minimum of one year of security experience 
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
  • This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time
