πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary
  • Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
  • Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor's arrival
  • Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
  • Monitor and/or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft, and other criminal behavior
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
  • Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
  • Warn violators of infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, and/or possession of prohibited items)
  • Respond to calls of distress, alarms, and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
  • Identify and report any concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
  • Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
  • Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
  • Other duties to be determined by management

πŸ“ QUALIFICATIONS:

βœ… Must be at least 21 years of age or older

βœ… High school degree or equivalent

βœ… Valid state licensing REQUIRED (Texas Guard Card)

βœ… Professional demeanor and appearance

βœ… Basic computer skills

βœ… Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks

βœ… Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

βœ… Minimum of one year of customer service experience

βœ… Minimum of one year of security experience

βœ… Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)

βœ… This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods of time
