Salesforce Architect
Marqeta is looking for talented Salesforce Architect to lead the design and implementation of our company's Salesforce solutions. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, its capabilities, and limitations, and will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions that meet our business needs.
Your expertise will not only shape our Salesforce landscape but will also have a profound impact on our Go-To-Market, Customer Support, and other operational teams, creating visible and transformative changes across our organization. Your contribution will be instrumental in optimizing our processes, enhancing customer experience, and ultimately, driving our business success.
The system's complexity, coupled with numerous integrations with other systems and data repositories, necessitates the expertise of a dedicated Salesforce Architect. This role is not just about addressing everyday needs; it's about designing and building for the long term, ensuring our Salesforce system can adapt and grow with our business.

We work Flexible First. This role can be performed remotely anywhere within Greater Toronto Area, Ontario or Vancouver Metropolitan Area, British Columbia, Canada. We’d love for you to join us!
The Impact You’ll Have
- Design and implement Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, workflows, triggers, data structures, and integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, specifications, and user manuals.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Salesforce development team.
- Ensure the security, quality, and performance of Salesforce solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and technologies, and recommend their use when appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce development and administration, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
- Experienced leading Salesforce engineers and being a role model engineer using best practices, tradeoffs
- Strong collaboration skills working with business stakeholders and other engineering teams
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits
Marqeta is a Flex First company which allows you to choose your best working environment, whether that be from home or at a company office. To support Flex First, we calibrate pay to a competitive value according to working location.
When determining salaries, we consider several factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior experience, and work location. The new-hire base salary range for this position, reflected in CAD, is: 128,300- 160,400.
