Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

As Marqeta’s Business Intelligence Analyst, you will partner with our Operations Team to build the data foundations that power our insights creation.

This role is performed in a hybrid work model (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite) from our Warsaw office.  We’d love for you to join us!

The Impact You’ll Have

• Help designing metric logic, build aggregate tables, and own data roadmap required for high-scale reporting.
• Create business-facing documentation: metric definitions, data dictionaries, and dashboard guides.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Query, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies affecting business operations.
• Design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions utilizing tableau type solutions like Snowflake / Looker to provide data visualizations and support decision-making. 
• Have a good understanding of the data sources and be able to communicate their limitations and nuances to the business.
• Assist business owners within our Operations Team with data analysis activities.
• Define and document BI best practices and conventions. Guide business areas to ensure consistency in knowledge and practice across the business.

Who You Are

• Experience in a Data Analytics & BI role, delivering and maintaining metrics and dashboards across various teams.
• Comfort working with large datasets for exploratory analysis and investigations.
• Data-driven storyteller, independent problem-solver and decision-maker.
• Knowledge on data management principles, data profiling, and compliance standards 
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements 

Nice-To-Haves

• Working experience in either payment and/or customer support industry

Compensation and Benefits

When determining salaries, we consider several factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior experience, and work location. The new-hire base salary range for this position, reflected in PLN,  is: 156,000 - 195,000. The bonus target for this position is 10% of the applicable base salary, subject to the plan terms and meeting eligibility requirements.
