💼 About the Role
As Director of Finance, you'll step into a strategic leadership role with real ownership. You’ll be the financial heartbeat of the company, translating numbers into action, ensuring compliance, and building smart systems that help us scale with purpose.
You’ll work closely with the executive team to make sure every dollar is aligned with growth, and every decision is backed by insight.

🔍 What You'll Do
Financial Management
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting with clarity and precision
- Develop forecasting models and dashboards that drive executive decisions
- Own company-wide budgeting and financial planning
- Present clear, actionable financial insights to internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations
- Manage cash flow, financial risk, and strategic financial planning
- Lead audit preparation and external reporting
Controls & Compliance
- Build and enforce internal financial controls and approval hierarchies
- Maintain compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements
- Conduct internal audits and drive continuous process improvement
🧠 What You Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- CPA designation (or in progress)
- 5–10 years of experience in senior financial roles
- Proficiency with ERP systems, financial software, and automation tools
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- A strong compliance mindset with high attention to detail
Preferred
- Experience in fast-scaling or tech-driven companies
- Familiarity with people operations, HR collaboration, or cross-functional partnerships
- Background in financial automation or reporting transformation projects
