Director of Resident Engagement

You'll have the exciting responsibility of spearheading inspiring programs, meaningful events, and innovative initiatives that enhance the well-being and overall engagement of our residents.
As a key member of our leadership team, you'll ensure the success of our resident services strategy by overseeing hospitality services and launching wellness initiatives that enrich the lives of our community.

This position is full-time, salaried, and located on-site at Splendido at Rancho Vistoso (13500 N Rancho Vistoso Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85755). Some weekends and flexible scheduling required for special events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Leads Resident Engagement team: Foster a welcoming atmosphere that reflects Mather's commitment to outstanding resident services.
- Strategic Planning: Bring the person-centered wellness model, Continuwell, and Mather Signature programs to life, ensuring we achieve the highest standards of excellence.
- Team member selection & development: Inspire and cultivate a dynamic, collaborative team. Partner with HR to foster an environment where every team member thrives and feels engaged.
- Budget Management: Strategically design and oversee engagement and wellness budgets, consistently surpassing residents' expectations.
- Data Collection and Reporting: Analyze engagement outcomes to glean valuable insights that will enhance the resident experience.
- Building Relationships with Residents and Families: Create strategies that honor resident feedback and maintain transparent communication with families, ensuring they feel involved and supported.
- Support for Psychological and Transition Needs: Work alongside a dedicated team to provide residents with guidance during care transitions, ensuring they receive holistic support.
- Communication Coordination: Skillfully address care plans and regulatory requirements to meet the specific needs of residents and their families.
- Collaboration and Cross Functional team communication: Actively engage in the Creating My Possibilities Champions team and co-lead transformative workshops for team members, residents, and families.
- Develop External Partnerships: Forge connections with local organizations to broaden and enrich opportunities for resident engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Required:
- BA/BS in a related field or 5+ years related experience working with older adults
- Excellent customer service and managerial skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Self initiator requiring minimum supervision
- Ability to use or learn a variety of tech-based services and platforms
