About this role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Partnerships Lead to join our team at MATTE Projects. As the Partnerships Lead, you will be responsible for spearheading strategic business development initiatives, building and maintaining high-value external partnerships, and driving sales and revenue growth through sponsorships and collaborations. Key areas of focus will be MATTE owned art and music events and HERO, our immersive venue space in Rockefeller Center. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Spearhead strategic business development initiatives by identifying and engaging high-value contacts to expand the MATTE Projects ecosystem.
- Secure sponsorships and revenue-generating partnerships, with a key performance indicator of achieving $1M in sponsorship revenue annually.
- Proactively source, cultivate, and manage sponsorship and partnership opportunities that align with MATTE Projects’ brand and business objectives. Cultivate and close sponsorship and partnership opportunities with HERO.
- Drive new client acquisition and revenue growth by facilitating high-level introductory meetings between MATTE Projects and senior marketing executives.
- Develop IP partnership opportunities with large IP holders and entertainment entities. This can include work-for-hire, rental, and joint-venture opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with MATTE teams to develop tailored proposals that meet client needs and objectives, ensuring a seamless integration of partnerships.
- Provide ongoing support to internal teams throughout the project pitch process, leveraging consultant-generated introductions and in-depth knowledge of client relationships to enhance success.
- Track and report on the success of partnership initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to optimize growth opportunities.
- Maintain a consistent presence in the MATTE Projects office, working on-site four days per week.
