About the team:
Maven is looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Business Operations team to drive strategic projects to uncover business insights that enable data-driven decision-making as our business expands. As a part of the Business Operations team, you will partner closely with our Client Success, Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams to support analytics efforts and enable data-informed decision-making across all aspects of our business. You will be a key partner in the design, development, and maintenance of business processes, dashboards, and reports to translate data into business value for cross-functional teams.
As a Senior Data Analyst at Maven, you will:
- Partner with stakeholders across Client Success, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to build dedicated processes, dashboards, and reports that support critical business processes and goals
- Drive operational efficiency by identifying areas for process improvement, automating processes, and recommending highly scalable solutions
- Promote and exemplify the development of best practices, coding standards, and design principles
- Effectively communicate insights and results from analysis to stakeholders across Maven teams, highlighting opportunities to better serve our business
- Explore improvement opportunities and emerging technologies, tools, and trends that can drive innovation and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our data analytics processes
We're looking for you to bring:
- 5-7 years of relevant analytics or data science experience
- Fluency in SQL
- Strong background in data visualization and modeling (Looker, Tableau)
- Hands-on experience with Python
- An ability to juggle both long-term strategic projects and ad hoc urgent requests as needed
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior analysts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with healthcare data
For candidates in NYC, CO, or CA, the base salary range for this role is $155K-$185K per year. You will also be entitled to stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset
