Maven is looking for an experienced, strategic, and dynamic Director of Client Delivery to lead our Client Delivery Manager team. In this role, you’ll set the vision and drive the execution of our client delivery strategy to ensure operational excellence, client satisfaction, and scalable growth across our portfolio. You’ll lead a team of high-performing Client Delivery Managers, empowering them to deliver seamless onboarding experiences.
As a senior leader, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across Product, Operations, and Technology to refine delivery processes, optimize performance, and enhance the overall client experience. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to shape how Maven delivers value to its clients both today and in the future.
As a Director of Client Delivery at Maven, you will:
- Lead and develop a high-performing Client Delivery Manager team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all client delivery functions.
- Define and drive the client delivery strategy, setting standards for operational excellence, scalability, and exceptional client experience from sale through launch.
- Oversee execution of complex client integrations and delivery initiatives, ensuring alignment between client needs, internal capabilities, and technical requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations leaders to prioritize enhancements, optimize workflows, and ensure that delivery processes support evolving business goals and client requirements.
- Implement frameworks for identifying, mitigating, and reporting on client implementation risks, ensuring proactive issue management, transparent communication, and successful outcomes across all engagements.
- Identify and resolve systemic challenges, using data and insights to drive process improvements, mitigate risks, and elevate the team’s efficiency and impact.
- Represent Client Delivery leadership in executive and cross-functional forums, influencing roadmaps, resourcing, and client strategy to ensure successful outcomes at scale.Lead requirements sessions to define data mapping, transformation rules, and client delivery expectations for file-based integrations with clients and external partners.
We’re looking for you to bring:
- 10+ years of experience in client delivery, operations, integrations, or program management, including significant leadership experience managing high-performing teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, ideally including health plans, digital health platforms, and enterprise client operations.
- Proven track record of building and scaling client delivery functions, with the ability to design processes that drive consistency, quality, and measurable client impact.
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills. You inspire confidence across all levels, from individual contributors to C-suite partners.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, leveraging data and insights to inform decisions, measure outcomes, and continuously improve team performance.
- A builder’s mindset and comfortable operating in ambiguity, identifying opportunities, and driving change to meet evolving business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MHA, or related field a plus)
- Health plan experience preferred
- Experience working in a high-growth or startup environment preferred
The base salary range for this role is $170,000 - $200,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
This role requires active work authorization in the US.
Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. Our teams primarily operate from the New York Metropolitan area, NY, and remotely via San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C. For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). For those based in San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C., we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to attend quarterly Work Together Days within these cities. This policy aims to balance remote work flexibility with the benefits of face-to-face interaction.
