As our Senior Director of Content & Product Marketing, you will lead a dynamic team of marketing professionals and be responsible for Maven's unified product marketing and content strategy during a critical period of growth acceleration and competitive differentiation. This role consolidates content and product marketing leadership to drive pipeline through strategic positioning, competitive intelligence, and messaging that converts prospects to customers, turns partners into evangelists, and turns clear value into expanded use. This role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and involves close collaboration with Product, Sales, Clinical Research and Customer Success teams.

As Maven's first unified content + product marketing leader, you'll set the direction for product marketing, guide our maternity, fertility, and menopause program narratives, and translate the roadmap into simple, outcome-driven messaging. You'll partner closely with Product to tighten the loop between market signals, buyer needs, and roadmap decisions.

This role requires someone who can command strategic positioning while ensuring tactical execution excellence across every customer touchpoint. You'll be the primary architect of Maven's market story, translating clinical excellence and product innovation into compelling business outcomes that win deals and drive pipeline velocity.

As Senior Director of Content & Product Marketing at Maven, you will: 

  • Set the strategic direction for product marketing across Maven's maternity, fertility, parenting/pediatrics and menopause programs
  • Develop and execute positioning strategies that differentiate Maven in market to varying audiences
  • Translate complex product and clinical capabilities into simple, outcome-driven messaging that resonates with buyers
  • Partner with the Senior Manager of B2B Content and content team members to maintain unified storytelling

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Drive unified content strategy from campaigns to thought leadership to field materials
  • Ensure consistent storytelling across every strategic deal and customer presentation
  • Develop content frameworks that support the field team's pipeline generation goals
  • Create scalable content processes that maintain quality while increasing output velocity
  • Lead content team members to maintain unified storytelling from TOFU to slideware

Product Partnership

  • Connect our real-time market and competitive intelligence to the PMM narrative and roadmap
  • Partner closely with Product teams to translate market signals and buyer needs into decisions
  • Take regular competitive analysis turn it into rapid response strategies, sales training and evolving go-to-market strategy
  • Continue to establish the standard PMM charter and new product introduction framework

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Growth Marketing to align content strategy with demand generation goals
  • Work with Customer Success to develop proof that drives enrollment, accelerate sales cycles and releases that make impact
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to translate outcomes data into business impact narratives
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement to ensure consistent, high-quality executive and field assets

We’re looking for you to bring:

  • 8+ years of B2B product marketing and content strategy experience, preferably with 4+ years in healthcare/benefits
  • Proven track record of developing messaging and positioning that drives pipeline outcomes
  • Experience leading product marketing for complex, multi-product platforms in enterprise markets
  • Strong background in competitive intelligence and market analysis in dynamic industries
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing marketing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical product features into business value propositions
  • Experience developing messaging frameworks for complex buyer journeys and multiple stakeholder groups
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to connect content performance to business outcomes
  • Understanding of healthcare benefits procurement and enterprise sales processes preferred
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and content creation
  • Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize based on business impact
  • Proven ability to build processes that scale efficiently as organizations grow
  • Location: San Francisco, CA, Seattle, WA or New York, NY Preferred. This role is also to candidates outside these locations

The base salary range for this role is $208,000-$245,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.

This role requires active work authorization in the US.

Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. Our teams primarily operate from the New York Metropolitan area, NY, and remotely via San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C. For those in our New York City office, we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to work onsite three days a week  (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). For those based in San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, and Washington, D.C., we encourage in-person collaboration by requiring team members to attend quarterly Work Together Days within these cities. This policy aims to balance remote work flexibility with the benefits of face-to-face interaction.
