Maven is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own go-to-market execution and product storytelling for a defined set of products, features, or programs within our portfolio. In this mid-level individual contributor role, you’ll manage a complete product marketing work stream—such as a program line, a set of features, or a key launch—with guidance from senior product marketing leaders.
You’ll translate complex clinical and product capabilities into simple, outcome-driven messaging, build sales enablement materials that help our Growth team win in the market, and support product launches that drive pipeline, revenue, and product adoption. You’ll partner closely with Product, Growth Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Clinical, and Research teams to ensure our positioning is clear, differentiated, and grounded in outcomes.
This role is ideal for a product marketer with strong execution chops who is ready to fully own a work stream—while still learning and growing under the mentorship of senior PMMs.
As a Product Marketing Manager at Maven, you will:
Own messaging, positioning, and storytelling for a defined product area
- Develop clear, differentiated messaging and positioning for your product area that resonates with employers, health plans, and consultants, grounded in Maven’s clinical and business outcomes.
- Build and maintain persona- and segment-specific value propositions that reflect buyer needs, competitive dynamics, and procurement realities in healthcare and benefits.
- Translate complex features into simple, compelling narratives that connect Maven’s member experience and clinical excellence to business outcomes and ROI.
Lead go-to-market plans for features and launches (with guidance)
- Manage end-to-end GTM for product updates, enhancements, and tiered launches within your remit, including launch brief, positioning, channel strategy, and post-launch readouts, with support from senior PMMs for larger, multi-program launches.
- Partner with Product to understand roadmap, feature scope, and release timing; ensure GTM plans align to business goals and sales cycles.
- Coordinate cross-functional readiness—Web, Growth Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Enablement—so the field is prepared with the right story and assets on day one.
Build high-impact sales enablement and content
- Create and maintain core sales assets for your product area (e.g., pitch decks, one-pagers, FAQs, competitive talking points, product videos/demos) to support pipeline creation and deal progression.
- Partner with Growth Marketing, Events, and Content to ensure your product story shows up consistently in campaigns, webinars, conferences, and ABX programs.
- Contribute to demo flows and guided tours that clearly showcase Maven’s differentiated member experience and program design, working closely with Technical PMM and Product teams where relevant.
Drive insight-informed strategy through research and analytics
- Conduct and synthesize customer, prospect, and consultant feedback, as well as internal field feedback, to refine messaging and GTM strategy.
- Support competitive intelligence for your space by partnering with the central PMM research and competitive function—ensuring your assets and training reflect current market dynamics and win/loss insights.
- Track performance of your launches and assets (e.g., adoption, asset usage, win rates) and recommend tests or iterations to improve impact.
Partner cross-functionally to connect product, clinical outcomes, and revenue
- Collaborate with Product Management and Clinical/Research teams to translate outcomes data and program design into compelling proof points that support RFPs, top deals, and renewals.
- Work with Sales, Customer Success, and RFP teams on strategic deals—supporting narrative development, tailoring content, and ensuring Maven shows up with a clear, confident story.
- Help ensure consistency of Maven’s story across your product line, aligning with broader PMM charters, frameworks, and launch processes.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for you to bring:
- Experience: 3–5 years in B2B product marketing or adjacent roles (e.g., solutions marketing, sales enablement, consulting) with experience owning a defined work stream end-to-end. Healthcare, benefits, or SaaS experience is a strong plus.
- GTM & launch execution: Demonstrated ability to develop positioning, execute go-to-market plans, and build the assets needed to support launches, campaigns, or sales motions—with some supervision and mentorship from senior PMMs.
- Messaging: Strong writing and positioning skills; able to distill complex, clinical, or technical concepts into intuitive, business-outcome-oriented assets intended for multiple personas and stages of the funnel.
- Sales enablement orientation: Experience building decks, one-pagers, or tools that sales and account teams actually use—and comfort training or presenting to internal field teams.
- Research and analysis: Familiarity with gathering customer, competitive, and market insights (e.g., sales calls, surveys, third-party data) and using that input to refine messaging, prioritization, and GTM motions.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success—balancing multiple stakeholders and priorities while keeping the focus on impact and clarity of story.
- Operational rigor: Strong project management skills; able to manage timelines, stakeholders, and dependencies to deliver launches and assets on time in a fast-paced environment.
Growth mindset: Comfort receiving feedback, iterating quickly, and learning from launches, deal cycles, and experiments as you grow into more strategic PMM responsibilities over time.
The base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $135,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
This role requires active work authorization in the US.
