About This Role

Maven is looking for a mission-driven, empathetic mental health provider (NJ license) to support our members through virtual care services. This role is remote. 

As a Maven provider, you will have the opportunity to connect with members across the globe, scaling impact and healthcare access worldwide. You will join a curated provider network encompassing 30+ specialties and 350+ subspecialties, dedicated to delivering holistic, high-value care.

As a Maven provider you will: 

  • Provide virtual care and support to adult members via 40-minute video consults and asynchronous messaging around:
    • Pregnancy, postpartum, peri-menopause, menopause
    • Adoption, surrogacy, fertility, egg freezing, loss, return-to-work
    • Anxiety, depression, personality disorder, bipolar disorder, etc.
    • Balancing work-life and parent life
    • Parent and family coaching
  • Use brief solution-focused therapy to address immediate issues so client can leaves with tools and skills
  • Capture encounter summary documentation in our practice management system, MPractice
  • Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals and follow-ups
  • Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone

Who You Are: 

  • Hold the following license: Unrestricted LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license in New Jersey  
  • Must have the ability to work independently, without supervision from a licensed supervisor (without current, past, or pending disciplinary action)
  • Must be residing in the United States
  • Must be able to provide direct member care for 5 or 10 hours per week. This is a part-time, independent contractor role (1099 position)
  • Have 3+ years of prior experience in the tele-health space. Must be comfortable providing care through a digital health platform
  • Must own an iOs device (iPhone or iPad) that can be updated past iOs16 and have access to a laptop computer with strong and reliable internet access 
  • Must be passionate about women’s and family health

This is a 1099, contract position. For candidates in NYC, CO, or CA, the approximate pay rate is $85 per hour. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, specialization, and contract type
