About This Role
Maven is seeking mission-driven, adaptable Nurse Practitioners to join our virtual care team supporting women and families across a broad spectrum of needs, from contraception and menopause management to metabolic and weight-related care.
As Maven continues to expand its digital women’s health platform, you will play a key role in delivering safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care that evolves with our members’ needs. This includes prescribing and managing medications such as GLP-1 agonists, hormonal therapies, and contraceptives to support members through life-stage transitions.
This is a 1099, remote, part-time or full-time contract position with flexible hours, ideal for clinicians who are passionate about combining clinical excellence with digital innovation, and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct telehealth visits (video and asynchronous) to evaluate and manage members seeking care for metabolic health, weight management, hormonal transitions (e.g., perimenopause, menopause), or contraception.
- Prescribe and manage medications including GLP-1 receptor agonists, hormonal therapy, and contraceptives in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and Maven protocols.
- Collaborate with Maven’s Medical Directors, RNs, and coaches to support member safety, adherence, and symptom management.
- Order and interpret labs and manage dose adjustments per protocol or clinical judgment.
- Provide education and counseling on lifestyle modification, behavioral strategies, and medication expectations to support long-term outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Maven’s EMR (MPractice) and adhere to QA and compliance workflows.
- Participate in case reviews, QA audits, and learning sessions, contributing feedback as Maven’s care model evolves.
- Serve as a clinical ambassador for Maven’s mission — helping members navigate health needs across reproductive, hormonal, and metabolic dimensions with empathy and expertise.
Who You Are
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner with active, unrestricted license(s) in at least one U.S. state (CA, TX, FL, NY, IL preferred)
- Multiple state licensed preferred (5+)
- 3+ years of clinical experience, ideally spanning primary care, women’s health, metabolic medicine, or telehealth
- Skilled in evaluating and managing members across multiple domains of care (e.g., contraception, menopause, metabolic management)
- Comfortable providing care asynchronously and via video visits in a digital health environment
- Strong communicator with excellent clinical judgment and adaptability
- Thrives in a dynamic, evolving care model — open to new protocols, technologies, and ways of delivering care
