Tech Lead Quoting

The Role:

• Manage the Quoting Tech team of professional engineers including C++ Developers & C# Developers responsible for developing & supporting Maven’s Options Market Making applications.
• Ensure the Quoting Tech team keeps the production environment stable & adds features to the applications within rapid turnarounds & tight timelines.
• Oversee the development of Maven’s Options Market Making applications.
• Prioritize & schedule the work of direct reports.
• Provide guidance to team members, identify areas of improvement & provide feedback to ensure continuous development.
• Lead the team direction by initiating & implementing changes and improvements.
• Ensure that the team is properly sourced & trained and that effective promotion and retention programs are implemented.
• Manage the team’s resources including technology & training needs. 
• Oversee the design, development, & deployment of new trading applications produced by the team.
• Write low-latency software, using C++ & Python for analysis.
• Work with low latency coding & apply knowledge of quoting within Options Market Making & derivatives trading & quoting algorithms. 
• Requires Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study, plus five (5) years of experience with IT management; Python; C++; low latency coding; quoting within Options Market Making; derivatives trading and quoting algorithms; and/or, Options Market Making.

Salary: $200,000-245,000 per annum.
