Software Developer - Amsterdam (On-site)

Founded in 2017, Maverick Derivatives is a proprietary trading firm headquartered in Amsterdam, with a second office in Singapore. We specialise in U.S. Equity Options, Crypto Options, and Delta One products, trading primarily on U.S. markets and crypto exchanges.

Responsibilities 

• Develop, design, support, and upkeep trading automation system components;
• Contribute actively throughout the entire feature development lifecycle—from concept and design to implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and results evaluation;
• Collaborate and communicate with key stakeholders.

What we’re looking for 

• At least three years of hands-on experience with C++;
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field;
• Proficient in Linux environments;
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills;
• You are keen to work in a hybrid set-up (at least 3 days in the office);
• Industry experience is a plus;
• Preferably, you already live in the Netherlands.

The Interview Process 

• Introductory Interview (Duration: 30-45 minutes);
• Technical Interview 1 (Duration: 60-90 minutes);
• Technical Interview 2 (Duration: 60 minutes).
